Tis the Season!
On Saturday morning we catered a Breakfast with Santa event for one of our corporate clients at Santa Monica Place. It was a lot of fun! The event was managed by Sean Heyman and Nick Heyman. Event Planner, Kerianne Miller, made sure everything proceeded seamlessly and Faith Ford made sure all the design elements fell into place. Chefs Gonzalo and Mike cooked up one thousand silver dollar pancakes, with chocolate chips and blueberries as well as mini waffles and sausage links. There were also freshly baked danishes and a wide variety of bagels to choose from. The hot chocolate station was a big hit with whipped cream, marshmallows and crushed peppermint as toppings.
The children had a great time! They were each given Santa hats to wear and as they lined up for breakfast they were very excited to see the ginger bread houses made by Faith. Each child received their own ginger bread house, a festive holiday Gable Box, which are used for Holiday Box Lunches. The Gable Box was home to a big ginger bread cookie, fruit cup and juice. The event turned out very nice and of course would not have been complete without greetings from Santa and Mrs. Clause who made a grand appearance! This was a great way to start off the holiday season!
